All Saints Church lies within the parish, in the tiny agricultural hamlet of Shorthampton. The building dates back to the 12th century and is still in regular use for worship. Walkers on the Oxfordshire Way are glad to drop in to rest and absorb the prayerful and peaceful atmosphere. The fabric of the building has been extensively restored, for which the Friends of Shorthampton have raised many thousands of pounds through different events and trusts. The medieval wall paintings are to be monitored along with other parts of the building. A guide book, postcards and other items are available for sale in the church. If you would like to help or become a Friend of Shorthampton, contact the The Parish Office. (01608 810230)
Burial and Baptismal records for Shorthampton are held at the parish office and with Amanda Cooper (see contacts) and can be seen by appointment.
